This Saturday Frenchmen all over the world will celebrate La Fëte National, Bastille Day.
We at Conran are committed Francophiles – indeed, a certain Chairman spends rather a lot of his time there – so this week’s tip is unashamedly Gallic.
The Boundary Restaurant is offering a prix fixe three-course menu, including a Gallic apéritif, for a bargainous £30. More details here.
If that’s a bit pompeux for you, head upstairs, where Boundary’s rooftop cocktail maestros will be serving a selection of drinks straight from the French Riviera to Shoreditch’s finest (weather permitting).
And then, if you awake a touch fuzzy-headed on Sunday morning, Albion can be relied on for a rousing selection of strong coffee and croissants.
Vive le weekend!
EDIT – In other Boundary news, by the way, the reigning National Chef of the Year, Freddie Forster, will soon be joining the team. We can hardly wait!
