Just in case you haven’t been keeping up with all the exicting things going on at The Conran Shop via their blog Conran Talking Shop we thought we would give you a little summary…

Joanna is the fifth artist to be showcased in our Handcrafted in Britain selling exhibition.

Her dramatic career change was inspired by an exhibition about Native American basket makers at Oxford’s Pitt Rivers Museum of Ethnology.

During the mid sixties, I purchased from the newly opened (the original)
Habitat shop in Tottenham Court Road – an tubular steel with brown leather shaped cushions couch. I need to find a home for this now and thought you might have archives where originals were now shown. Do you? if you could let me know that would be great! Lyn Orton.

  2. Hi Lyn – thanks for that, sounds interesting – do you have an email we could contact you on?
