Throughout the Olympics, Jimmy’s Supper Club is running a pop-up restaurant in Stratford, in the shadow of the Olympic Park.
Each night has a different theme. I was treated to a Jamaican extravaganza: a four course meal full of jerk chicken, rum and bananas, and a screening of – what else? – Cool Runnings.

There are still tickets left for this weekend and next week – I fancy the truly Olympian five-course Greek feast, personally.
